What is an abstract?
It is an overview of something that has been cut down into one paragraph containing 10-20 sentences.
What is the point of an abstract?
An abstract helps people plan something their going to do or summarise something they have already done.
Why Is it important for me?
It will help me in a huge way when I need to plan something or make a proposal for a project instead of diving straight into the work without thinking about it first. It will also help me write my essays because again it prevents me from diving straight in and not thinking about it first.
Abstract Practice - Star Wars
Jedi are people and aliens who worship the force of the galaxy and use it to protect the innocent within it. In the beginning there were just the Jedi but along the way some Jedi Knights discovered a new way in seeing and using the force known as the dark side. Jedi disagreed with this new way and found it evil initiating a civil between the Jedi and the dark Jedi. The dark Jedi eventually came up for a new name for themselves called the Sith and were supposedly wiped out by the Jedi. The Jedi joined and agreed to help the republic with their war against the federation (a group of people/aliens who want to take over and wipe out the republic to rule at their own will). Through the midst of the war the Jedi discover that the Sith still exist and that a young boy named Anakin Skywalker is the chosen one who is supposed to wipe out the Sith for good. As Anakin gets older he falls for a princess called Padme well knowing that Jedi are forbidden to love and are banished for doing so. Eventually Anakin has visions of his new wife dying in child birth which concerns him so he promises to do everything in his power to prevent it. The chancellor of the republic named Palpatine tells Anakin that there is an ability that could save his wife from death but involves learning the ways of the darks side of the force and from this Anakin learns that chancellor Palpatine is actually the dark lord of the Sith the Jedi have being looking for. Chancellor Palpatine known as the Sith lord Darth Sidious uses Anakin's Wife's tragic future to manipulate him to joining the dark side and help wipe out the Jedi. Now with the help of the confused Jedi knight Anakin Skywalker now known as Darth Vader, Darth Sidious issues order 66 which is a message to the the soldiers of the Republic that the Jedi are traitors and need to be executed which does basically wipe out all of the Jedi. Anakin Skywalker's master Obi Wan Kenobi travels to the planet of Mustafar (a planet made up of molten lava) where he confronts his apprentice who has fallen to the darkside, the battle ends up with Obi Wan cutting off the legs of Anakin and leaves him to burn to death. Obi Wan and the leader of the once Jedi council master Yoda help deliver Anakin's children from his wife Padme who does die in child birth after giving birth to twins a boy named Luke and a girl named Leia. In the meantime Anakin is saved by his new master Darth Sidious and is rebuilt into the android Darth Vader who now blames and hates the Jedi for his wife's death promising to wipe the rest out. While Obi Wan and Yoda go into hiding and Luke and Leia grow up, Lord Vader travels the galaxy hunting down rogue Jedi who have also gone into hiding slaughtering them from existence. During this time Darth Sidious has created an Empire who plan to rule the galaxy and has made his self the emperor while people/aliens have formed a rebellion to prevent this empire from taking over. Eventually Luke and Leia get tied up in the war between the Empire and the Rebels especially Leia who was adopted by the leader of the Rebels anyway. Luke joins the Rebel army making his way to the Death Star (a massive space station that has the power to destroy planets) to confront his father Darth Vader and the Emperor Darth Sidious. Thanks to Obi Wan and master Yoda's training Luke defeats Darth Vader and finally becomes a Jedi but then is tortured by Darth Sidious which Luke's father can't stand to see so he throws his master over a balcony killing him, thus Anakin Skywalker finally fulfilling the prophesy of him defeating the Sith good. Shortly after Darth Vader dies of his wounds leaving the Rebels victorious and the galaxy safe.
